Seeing all my Mini Dreamers summer family vacation pics is reminding me of my past vacation with my family in the Spring. We went to Tokyo, Japan and all the colors, the cherry blossoms, and the mix of busy urban streets with beautiful gardens was unforgettable. Here are a few photos from our trip with my mom (Mitra), my sister (Michelle), and me (Mel)!
Cherry blossom season usually takes place around April in Japan, depending on where you are they can bloom as early as January or as late as May. We’re lucky to have caught them during spring and had some candid park photoshoots by the beautiful blossoms.
Next, we had to make sure to get some cute character ice cream! We stopped by Eiswelt Gelato in Takeshita Street in Harajuku. Michelle got the unicorn, I got the bunny, and my mom got the popular froggy flavor. It was hard to wait for the photo when we all wanted to eat them ASAP after a long day of walking!
And here we are stopping for a quick family pic - it was a little chilly in Japan during spring so we made sure to back warm (and trendy) scarves and lightweight jackets that were warm but not too bulky for days filled with exploring.
