It’s been an amazing year for us at Mini Dreamers, filled with many new challenges as well as successes that have made us a bigger and better kidswear site for our Mini Dreamers family! I want to share some of our updates with you and my insights of growing your own brand, in honor of Mini Dreamers 3rd year anniversary! On September 7th, three years ago, I would have never known the idea I had could turn into a popular and successful kidswear online boutique store!
Started from selling kidswear at school pop-ups to now selling internationally… what a journey!
Some new milestones for Mini Dreamers include: being featured on NBC news, Earnshaw Magazine, and on a panel as a guest speaker for leaders of consumer trends in retail fashion It's incredible to see what word of mouth has done to expand our community organically to influencers, bloggers, celebrities and YOU reading this right now! Thank you so much for being apart of this journey and sharing your memories with us from the first day of school photos to family vacations!

Another personal milestone and source of inspiration for me has been the birth of my uncle’s daughter, Mia! I'm very close to his wife Anna and she trusts me to dress Mia daily (which you’ve probably seen on our Instagram Stories). I always ask Anna’s opinion on what's practical for babies and what she likes to see more of to add to the site. Mia is the first baby in the family after 19 years! So everyone is absolutely obsessed with her.
Me and baby Mia!! <3
Speaking of Mia and new additions, we also added a ton of new and exciting kids clothing brands to the site. Our most popular children's brands are Little Moon Society, Duke Alexander, and Posh Peanut for babies. Here are three pieces from each that I love:
Little Moon Society Tie Dye Romper
Duke Alexander Tie Dye Rainbow Romper
Post Peanut Tuscan Teal Ruffle Romper
Also this year, I fell back in love with tie dye, the hottest trend of 2019 for kids (and adults). Even though I’m a business owner and CEO, I learned that I can have more fun in my life and define that role for myself. This included taking more spontaneous vacations with friends, sharing more of my life and humor on social media, and in general learning more balance.
My support system aka my amazing family!
The lessons I learned this year centered around this theme of balance. It's really hard to do everything yourself. I learned that it's okay to ask for help and to delegate tasks. Your team is there with you to help the company grow and succeed. I've learned to let go and trust my team to do the work themselves. I’m so thankful to have such a strong team working together, Mini Dreamers really wouldn't be where it is today if it wasn’t for everyone's hard work, dedication, and daily communication.

"The work-life balance is a harsh reality for so many women, who are forced every day to make impossible choices. - Michelle Obama
Like Michelle Obama’s quote above says, what I’ve learned since starting my own business is that it's really hard juggling your social life, family, friends, work, travel, dating, etc. I'm a workaholic and I've really learned to make time for myself and try to balance a little bit of everything. It makes me see time as more valuable. It also makes me feel good about the time I can give back to busy moms and dads who want a quick and easy online shopping experience!
From warm weather to cold, wearing trends while traveling like pom pom coverups and puffer jackets
